GOOD DAY Had a nice interactive session at Sri Krishna Degree College for around 75 students on BE GOOD AND DO GOOD. Eventhough the students were less interactive, their faces showed interest in being good and contributing something to the society. Please conduct these workshops more often!  We want to become volunteers in DISHA! These were some of the most common statements that we received as feedback from the students participating in the DISHA workshops, giving us the satisfaction that we had indeed managed to touch the hearts of our young audience.  July to September 2013 was an enriching experience for us at DISHA. Around 1000 final year graduate and post-graduate students from various city colleges belonging to the Arts, Science, Commerce and Management streams participated in the 1-day value education workshops organized by DISHA. VIVEKANANDA JAYANTHI (150th Birth Anniversary) – Report

On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, DISHA organized an 1.5hr interactive sessions in 16 colleges reaching out students to develop social responsibility in students. The sessions focused on “Student Social Responsibility”. We got a great response from both the college management and students. It’s nice to know many of the youth want to contribute in some way or the other to the society. The students were questioned on the positives and negatives in the society and people responsible for the same. It was highly interactive.
