But Arunachalam Muruganantham is nothing less than an anomaly. While most men squirm at the mention of menstruation or sanitary napkins, Muruganantham just couldn’t bear to see his wife use a dirty rag for her periods. We are very happy to inform you about the workshops that we had since last 10 days. DISHA organized 6 one-day workshops for all the final year students of Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women starting from July 3 to July 10. We are very happy that the way students received the message and many even took an oath to change their life after the same. Every day started with a song, followed by a yoga session which included basic asanas, pranayama and dhyana which will boost student’s physical and spiritual quotients. This was followed by counselling session where students became emotionally strong and got a positive attitude towards life.
