BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 7 – Old-age home Visit and activities
Students were given community service projects to be completed in the vacation. Few groups did a wonderful work using their time for the benefit of the society. Taking inspiration from these groups, this group visited an old age home Starting from the problem identification to planning, procuring materials, asking permission in the NGO, fund raising, implementation: everything was done by students only. They had a wonderful learning and emotional experience !!
BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 6 – Inspiring school students towards patriotism – Workshop
After the Disha’s session on “Saga of patriotism”, students were given assignments to spread this message of kindling patriotism in the students. They did a tremendous work by doing exactly what we did. The workshop they included Yoga, videos, activities, information on soldiers, national anthem etc. School management took it very well and a student told that she wishes to join army after going through this session.
BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 5 – Swatch Bharat using 25 college students as volunteers
Taking inspiration from other students who did volunteering in their vacation, 25 students of BSVP did a clean drive i.e. Swatch Bharat around the college premises last week. Without hesitating to clean the dirty roads, not minding about weather conditions, these students did a remarkable seva inspiring the nearby locality individuals and college friends.
BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 4 – Celebrating Vivekananda Jayanti in unique way
Community Service Projects: Students used their vacation in a constructive way spreading smiles in the lives of others. This student became a yoga teacher teaching Yoga to the needy people by associating with a yoga center. She had been to a government school and an orphanage to celebrate Vivekananda Jayanthi in a unique way..
BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 3 – Special School and Orphanage Visit and seva
Students were given community service projects to be completed in the vacation. They have done a wonderful work using their time for the benefit of the society. This group has done various programs in a special school and an orphanage Starting from the problem identification to planning, procuring materials, asking permission in school/NGO, fund raising, implementation: everything was done by students only. They could realize the value of money, parents and other human values through service.. They had a wonderful learning and emotional experience !
BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 2 – Go Green
Students were given community service projects to be completed in the vacation. They have done a wonderful work using their time for the benefit of the society. This group did a group project on “Go Green”. Starting from the problem identification to planning, procuring materials, asking permission in park and college, implementation : everything was done by students only. They are maintaining the plants since planting and increasing the number day by day..!!
BSVP Certification Course: Students Community Project 1 – Awareness on Self Defense, Home Safety and Traffic rules
Students were given community service projects to be completed in the vacation. They have done a wonderful work using their time for the benefit of the society. This group has done an awareness program in a school on “Home safety, Traffic rules and Self Defence. Starting from the problem identification to planning, procuring materials, asking permission in school, implementation : everything was done by students only. School teachers and students took it very well and even small children shared their experiences about abusing they had in their childhood(Alarming!!).. They had a wonderful learning experience !!
