We are very happy to inform you about the workshops that we had since last 10 days.
DISHA organized 6 one-day workshops for all the final year students of Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women starting from July 3 to July 10. We are very happy that the way students received the message and many even took an oath to change their life after the same.
Every day started with a song, followed by a yoga session which included basic asanas, pranayama and dhyana which will boost student’s physical and spiritual quotients. This was followed by counselling session where students became emotionally strong and got a positive attitude towards life. Then there was a quiz on country and culture to make them feel proud of being Indians. Post-lunch, we had some videos to inculcate social responsibility in students which was followed by Desi Games which they enjoyed the most. Finally, through an interactive session, they discovered themselves about true personality, true success and steps to reach the same.
From this year, DISHA is also planning to launch clubs in colleges which will organize yoga sessions, service activities and some study circles. We are surprised to see more than 50% of the students who attended our workshop have agreed to be a part of DISHA club.
