Post-Independence, the education system in India has given great thrust on academics, scores and grades. Students graduating out of universities are taking up jobs in pursuit of material rewards. At the same time, an increase in stress, anxiety, addictions, depression, brain drain, dishonesty and apathy in students is witnessed. Disha Bharat intends to complement the academic curriculum with core values in order to ensure holistic personality development among students for enabling them to become catalysts of change for personal and societal transformation.
