In the month of April, Disha Bharat had conducted the first project of Voter Awareness Campaign under “Champions of Change” , a unique initiative that aimed to harness the inherent talent of students
towards making a positive impact on the society. Selected students from different colleges were trained on various activities on Voter Awareness and they executed this initiative in higher education institutions and public places, thereby becoming a catalyst of social change.
Valedictory program and Certificate distribution ceremony of this initiative was held on 11th May 2024. Sri Rajesh Padmar, noted social activist and trustee of Disha Bharat was the Chief Guest of the event. In his talk, he inspired students to become responsible citizens who take up ownership of their own areas to ensure 100 percent voting in years to come.
Students shared their experience of being a part of this initiative, and expressed their keen interest in associating with future projects of Disha Bharat as well.
Certificates were distributed to students.
