Students’ Conclave 2024- “Youth Inspires: Towards a Meaningful Life”
The Students’ Conclave 2024, held on November 16, 2024, at the Dr. D Premachandra Sagar Auditorium and Centre for Performing Arts, Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bangalore, was a vibrant gathering of youth and thought leaders. Organized by Disha Bharat in association with The Mythic Society and Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences, the conclave aimed to inspire youth towards purposeful living rooted in values and ethics.
Themed “Youth Inspires: Towards a Meaningful Life,” the conclave welcomed hundreds of UG and PG students from across Karnataka. The event commenced with an impactful inauguration led by Dr. C.N. Manjunath, Member of Parliament, Bangalore Rural, who emphasized the role of youth in shaping a better society. His words instilled a sense of responsibility and pride in the attendees, setting the tone for the day.
One of the event’s key highlights was the panel discussion on “Dare to Dream: Overcoming Limitations and Creating Destiny.” Esteemed panelists included Dr. Shalini Nalwad (Director, ICATT Air Ambulance Services), Sri Ashwin Gowda (Additional Commissioner, Income Tax), and Capt. Meera Siddharth Dave (Ex-Army Officer and Entrepreneur). They shared their inspiring journeys, addressing the challenges they overcame to make significant contributions to their respective fields. The discussion was engaging and left students motivated to dream big and persevere.
Another major attraction was the India Inspires:State-Level Quiz Finals, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. It showcased their knowledge, competitive spirit, and enthusiasm for learning, culminating in a celebratory recognition of the winners.
The valedictory session was presided over by Sri Suhas Gopinath, Founder and CEO of Globals Inc., who shared his journey as one of the world’s youngest CEOs. His speech inspired students to innovate, remain resilient, and lead with integrity in their personal and professional lives.
Throughout the event, Disha Bharat’s commitment to value-based education was evident. As part of its 20th-anniversary celebrations, the organization seamlessly orchestrated the conclave, ensuring a blend of inspiration, interaction, and knowledge-sharing. Participants were provided lunch, and certificates were awarded to those who completed the full-day program.
The Students’ Conclave 2024 was a resounding success, fulfilling its mission to inspire and empower the youth. It ignited a strong sense of responsibility, cultural pride, and ethical leadership among the attendees.
