M. K. Sridhar obtained Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Mysore. He served as Professor and Dean at Canara Bank School of Management Studies, Bangalore University. He is a trainer and a Social Activist for Social and National causes. He served as Member Secretary of Karnataka Knowledge Commission and Karnataka State Innovation Council, Govt. of Karnataka and Member of Central Advisory Board of Education (CABE), MHRD. Recently, he served as a member of a Committee for draft National Education Policy under the chairmanship of Dr K Kasturirangan. Presently, he is the Executive Council Member of Central University of Kerala, President of Centre for Educational and Social Studies (CESS), Yuvaka Sangha, member of University Grants Commission as well as the ICSSR Senior Fellow at ISEC, Bengaluru.
